A Fixed Deposit A/c may be opened by any person, individual, a minor, a firm, company, trust and senior citizens.  

• Deposits are accepted for fixed period.

• Nomination facility is available.

• Simple interest is eligible, depending upon the period of deposit.

• Monthly/Quarterly interest on deposits.

• Interest can be withdrawn in option monthly / quarterly.

• Premature closing is depends on the scheme, subject to penalty if any.

• Loans can be obtained depends on the scheme, against the deposit amount.

• Standing instruction is accepted for transferring the interest.
